Profile
Mr. Ryniker’s
practice includes extensive litigation, arbitration, mediation,
trial and appellate representation of clients in general liability,
personal injury, products liability and cargo cases. His experience
includes general maritime law matters in New York and Houston
involving defense of ship channel pilots, cargo claims, hull
claims, offshore platforms, Jones Act personal injury claims,
collisions, general average claims, maritime liens, salvage,
charter parties, maritime contracts, and arrest and attachment
issues. His legal experience also includes expertise in maritime
and general liability insurance coverage issues, and various
toxic tort matters.
Mr. Ryniker
served aboard commercial vessels for more than five years as
a merchant mariner, and possesses a United States Coast Guard
License, Oceans, Unlimited Tonnage. He is an FAA licensed commercial
pilot, multi-engine, instrument rated and a Certified Flight
Instructor. He also served as an officer in the U.S. Naval Reserve.
He is qualified as an attorney-mediator in accordance with applicable
